Rohit Silva, Founder and Managing Principal of Travesia Advisory, has spent his career leading complex organisations through consequential change, building and leading global teams and making decisions with real stakes attached.
He spent over a decade in New York in senior roles at Credit Suisse, including as Global Head of Algorithmic Trading, where he built the firm's algorithmic bond trading capability from the ground up. He went on to lead strategy and transformation across the bank's emerging markets and treasury businesses, spanning Latin America, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Asia — work defined by judgement under pressure and fast-moving regulatory demands.
After relocating to Australia, he joined Woodside Energy as Head of Strategic Architecture and Data Technology, moving from finance to energy and establishing architecture and data foundations for the company's transformation.
Since then he has held operating leadership roles across several early and growth-stage companies, working alongside founders and executive teams. In those roles he carried revenue targets, built the teams behind them, worked with boards and investors, and contributed across strategy, technology, and operations.
Through Travesia he holds advisory engagements and programme execution for a transformation he designed — creating the clarity and alignment a complex brief required, then mobilising a staffed team to deliver it and leave capability behind.
The throughline is judgement: reading complex situations clearly and aligning leadership around the calls that carry the most weight. Travesia Advisory makes that judgement available to CEOs, boards, and executive teams as a trusted advisor, an embedded executive, or a specialist partner.
